Ashish Kothari is a veteran in the world of consumer brands, with over three decades of experience in Marketing, Branding, Innovation, Business Development and Sales in the FMCG, Entertainment, Fuels & Convenience Retail, and Lubricants sectors.
Ashish has several prestigious industry awards to his credit, including "Asia's Most Influential CMO's" awarded by the World Brand Congress; the "Reader's Digest Trusted Brands" Gold award; and "Consumer Campaign of the Year" by PR Week.
Most recently, Ashish worked with Shell’s Retail and Lubricants businesses, where he held several global and regional positions in Singapore, Malaysia, USA, Middle East and India. He is the modern architect of Shell’s worldwide lubricants brand portfolio. His other achievements during this period include driving industry-leading growth of their premium range; a global turnaround of the oil giants retail-lubricants business; several brand launches and campaigns; developing innovative channel marketing strategies; and negotiating strategic alliances with other major brands.
Ashish graduated in Physics from the University of Mumbai, and holds an MBA degree from New Delhi. He currently lives in Singapore.
